The European Union Election Observation Mission Timor-Leste 2007 will release its preliminary findings on the presidential elections at a Press Conference on 11 April, at 09:00 AM, in the main conference room of Hotel Timor.
With 40 members, the EU mission is the largest international election observation mission for the presidential elections in Timor-Leste, where it has been since the middle of March. It is led by Chief Observer, Javier POMÉS RUIZ ( Spain), a Member of the European Parliament, and includes 28 long-term observers who were deployed across the country to all 13 districts. A delegation of four Members of the European Parliament has joined the Mission for the Election Day.
