José Javier POMÉS RUIZ (born on 12 March 1952 in Pamplona, Navarra) is a Member of the European Parliament with the People's Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats. Member of the EP Committee on Budgetary Control, the Committee on Development and the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). He is a substitute for the Committee on Budgets, the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, the Delegation to the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee and the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
